Ahhh I have so many problems with replying to posts, sorry if this looks massively stupid. Not the most original thing ever, but I’m applying to a program in Tokyo. It’s got a bunch of great language, art, history, and culture classes and that all sounds very awesome. Also I’m pretty sure that I’ll be at the required Japanese language level by the end of the next academic year. I’ll have to take placement tests though… ahhhh!

Just imagine:

I’d like to think that over time all of the languages spoken by the people who had taken to the walls would run together at least a little. Like each area would probably have their own accent and slang. All coming from languages that some people had never even heard of in their lives. Though older languages should have been preserved, right? You don’t really see the part of this universe that would be concerned with things like historical language preservation, though.
